Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War

Yhwach escapes from the cage surrounding Squad Zero's fake Royal Palace to confront Hyosube, who is protecting the real Royal Palace.

Yhwach, along with his trusted subordinates, has entered the Soul King Palace where he is confronted by the Hot Spring Devil, Tenjiro Kirinji, which onsets the beginning of the testament of power of Squad Zero.

Ikkaku, Yumichika, and the Arrancars work together to fight off Giselle's zombies. But the group is shocked when Giselle reveals her next pawn, who is none other than Captain Hitsugaya of Squad 10.

Ichigo and the Soul Reapers try to stop Yhwach when they came to know that his real target lies within the Royal Palace. But Uryu stands in Ichigo's way in order to allow Yhwach safe passage to the Royal Palace.

Kenpachi defeats Gremmy, but his moment of victory is cut short when he is suddenly struck by Candice's thunderbolt attack. Meninas, Giselle, and Liltotto also join Candice to take down Kenpachi, who is considered to be a Special Threat.

Isane and Yachiru are treating the wounded Kensei and Rojuro when they are attacked by Gwenael, a Quincy who not only possesses the ability to disappear physically but can also erase his existence from the memory of his opponents.

A fearless Rukia swings her Sodenoshirayuki in battle as she takes on Äs Nödt.

After Mask overwhelmingly defeats Kensei and Rose, Renji and Rukia arrive and while Rukia takes the two captains elsewhere to recover, Renji decides to face Mask personally and demonstrate the results of his training.

After Bambietta overwhelms Shinji, Komamura arrives to back him up. However to defeat Bambietta, Komamura must use his clan's secret technique, to give him the power necessary, even if it means throwing his old life away.

Kisuke Urahara has discovered the Quincy's weakness, and using their communication system allows for the Soul Reapers to use his plan to regain the ability to use their Bankai, and be able to turn the tide of battle.

The Soul Reapers captains counter the Invasion with pre-arraged strategies to compensate for not being able to use their Bankai. While this holds at first, ultimately the Qunicies prove too powerful for this to work.

Hyosube stops Ichigo who was about to leave the Royal Palace to return to the Seireitei, he claims that Ichigo cannot defeat Yhwach.
